2. Products and Freshness Guarantee
- Nature of Goods: We sell roasted coffee beans and tea leaves. As agricultural products, flavor profiles may vary slightly by batch.
- Freshness: We guarantee that all coffee beans shipped are roasted within 14 days of the shipping date to ensure optimal freshness.
- Storage: We are not liable for spoilage or loss of quality due to improper storage (e.g., exposure to heat, moisture, or direct sunlight) after the product has been delivered.
3. Orders and Payments
- Currency: All prices are listed and charged in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
- Payment Methods: We currently accept Credit Cards and WeChat Pay. Full payment is required before orders are processed.
- Order Cancellation: You may request to cancel your order within 4 hours of placing it. After this 4-hour window, the order is considered confirmed and enters our roasting/packing queue, and cannot be cancelled.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Carrier: We use SF Express for all local deliveries.
- Delivery Options: We ship to residential/commercial addresses and SF Lockers/SF Service Centers. Please ensure your mobile number is correct for SF Express notifications.
- Processing Time: Orders are processed, packed, and dispatched within 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- Shipping Costs:
- Orders over HKD $400: Free Shipping.
- Orders under HKD $400: Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout or are “Collect upon Delivery” (Pay at arrival) depending on your selection.
- Weather Policy (Typhoons & Black Rainstorm):
- Deliveries will be suspended if Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or higher) or a Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted.
- Delivery services will resume as soon as weather conditions permit, subject to SF Express operational arrangements. Please expect potential delays of 1-2 days in these events.
5. Returns and Refunds
- Perishable Goods: Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on coffee beans or tea leaves once they have been dispatched.
- Exceptions: If you receive the wrong item or if the package is significantly damaged upon arrival, please contact us at [email protected] with a photo of the issue within 24 hours of receipt. We will evaluate these cases individually.
6. Physical Store Purchases (Consignment)
- Kolb Life: While our products are available on consignment at Kolb Life, this website (Cafftime.com) operates independently.
- Policy Separation: Purchases made physically at Kolb Life are subject to that store’s policies. We cannot handle returns, exchanges, or customer service inquiries regarding items bought in-store through this website.
7. Privacy and Personal Data
- Data Collection: We collect your Name, Delivery Address, Phone Number, and Email strictly for the purpose of processing your order and arranging delivery via SF Express.
- Data Usage: We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your phone number is shared with SF Express solely to facilitate delivery notifications.
