At Cafftime, we are committed to delivering the freshest coffee beans and tea directly to your door. Please read our shipping procedures below to understand how we handle your order.
1. Delivery Areas
- We currently ship to Hong Kong addresses only.
- This includes residential addresses, commercial offices, and SF Express Lockers/Service Centers.
2. Processing Time
- Roasting & Packing: Since we roast and blend our coffee in small batches to ensure quality, please allow up to 3 business days for us to process and pack your order.
- Freshness Guarantee: We ensure that all coffee beans shipped have been roasted within the last 14 days.
- Cut-off Times: Orders placed after 5:00 PM or on weekends/public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
3. Shipping Rates (Hong Kong)
We use SF Express (順豐速運) for all local deliveries.
- Orders over HKD $400: FREE Shipping.
- Orders under HKD $400: Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout, or sent via “SF Collect” (Freight Payable at Destination) depending on the option selected.
4. SF Express Lockers & Stations
If you choose to have your order delivered to an SF Locker or SF Service Center:
- Mobile Number: You must provide a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number at checkout.
- Collection: SF Express will send an SMS notification with a pickup code once your parcel arrives. Please collect it within the timeframe specified by SF Express (usually 24 hours) to avoid additional storage fees charged by SF.
5. Delivery Time Estimates
- Once your order is dispatched from our roastery, standard delivery by SF Express usually takes 1–2 business days.
- You will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your shipment’s progress.
6. Severe Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather conditions, our delivery operations will follow standard Hong Kong protocols:
- Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Higher / Black Rainstorm Warning: Deliveries will be suspended.
- Resumption: Dispatch and delivery will resume once the warning signals are lowered and it is safe to operate. Please expect a delay of 1–2 extra days for orders placed during these periods.
7. Order Changes & Address Corrections
- Please ensure your shipping details (address and phone number) are correct before confirming your order.
- If you notice an error, please contact us at [email protected] immediately. We may be unable to redirect the package once it has been handed over to SF Express.
8. Lost or Damaged Shipments
- While we pack every order with care, we understand that accidents happen during transit.
- If your package arrives significantly damaged, please take photos of the condition and contact us within 24 hours of receipt so we can resolve the issue with the carrier.
